Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd are seeking Teaching Assistants to support in Primary Schools across Peterborough and surrounding villages, working with various year groups, both 1-1 and small groups.

You should have a confident approach to building relationships with children, including those with SEND; a calm, empathetic manner; and be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide two references. Salary £465-£550 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum).
• Hold a TA qualification (desirable).
• Genuine passion for working in education.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to process one via us.
• Provide two recent references to support work with children.

Responsibilities

• Work in 1-1 or small group settings with children needing additional support.
• Build relationships with children, especially those with SEND.
• Maintain a calm and empathetic approach; manage behaviour as a form of communication.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge Therapeutic Approach is beneficial.
