Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking experienced SEND Support Staff to assist primary-aged pupils with additional needs across Bradford and surrounding areas. Roles include 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and classroom assistance within mainstream schools.

You will work with pupils with Autism/ASC, ADHD, and other needs, collaborating with teachers to deliver individualized support. A calm, patient approach, safeguarding commitment and strong behaviour management are essential.

Qualifications

At least 6 months' experience supporting children with SEND.
Experience working with primary-aged pupils.
Knowledge or experience of supporting needs such as Autism/ASC and ADHD.
Confidence providing 1:1 and small-group support.
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
A calm, patient and consistent approach.
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day and longer-term roles across KS1/KS2, including 1:1 and small-group support or classroom assistance.
Work closely with class teachers to provide consistent and individualised support.
