TeacherActive Limited in Bristol is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work full-time on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2026. The role involves 32.5 hours per week during term time, providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, assisting with learning activities, behaviour strategies and resource preparation.

You will monitor pupil progress, contribute to EHCPs and SEND Support Plans, and collaborate with class teachers.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications suitable for working within a primary school setting.
• Proven experience working with primary-aged children, ideally supporting pupils with SEND.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A reflective approach and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A positive, resourceful and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
