Job summary

Teaching Personnel in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Oldham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting pupils across the primary age range, delivering interventions and providing one-to-one assistance to pupils with additional learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEN and a nurturing, patient approach, working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to promote inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a school, nursery, care or support setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.
• Patience, empathy and a nurturing approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the primary age range within the classroom.
• Work one-to-one with children and in small intervention groups.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs.
• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and differentiating learning.
• Support positive behaviour management and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to ensure adequate support.
