Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with SEND. You will adapt activities with teachers, help develop communication and numeracy skills, and foster independence and positive behaviour in a nurturing setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the SENCO and support staff and requires reliability and flexibility for day-to-day cover across primary settings.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or SEND experience.
  • Understanding of needs such as autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum and how to adapt learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support primary pupils with SEND individually and in small groups.
