Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming specialist setting in the Trafford area. You will deliver differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil’s needs, supporting EHCP targets and collaborative work with TAs, therapists, and families.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have SEN experience, and an understanding of inclusive practice. DBS update service or willingness to obtain one is expected.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons adapted to pupils' individual needs.

SEN Primary Teacher
Trafford | Full-Time | Teaching Personnel | Immediate & Future Starts Available

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming specialist primary setting in the Trafford area.

This well-established school supports pupils aged 4-11 with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning needs. The school is known for its small class sizes, excellent specialist facilities, and nurturing approach that enables every child to thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs while creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
