Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an empathetic and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support primary pupils with additional needs in Bristol and North Somerset. The role involves 1:1 or small group support, helping pupils access learning through structure, encouraging regulation, and working with teachers and therapists to achieve positive outcomes.

Protocol Education is looking for nurturing and proactive Learning Support Assistants to support children with additional needs in Primary SEN settings across Bristol and North Somerset. Whether it’s autism, ADHD, sensory needs or social-emotional challenges—you’ll be making a daily difference in the lives of pupils who need a little extra help to shine.

About the Role:

1:1 or small group support for pupils aged 4–11
Helping children access learning through structure and encouragement
Supporting regulation, routine, and confidence-building
Working closely with teachers and therapists to create positive outcomes
