Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. in Bradley Stoke is seeking dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This role offers full-time hours with an immediate start and the chance to support students who need it most.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children in school or SEND settings, excellent communication skills, and a DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). A strong commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school, SEND, care, youth work, or similar setting.
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • DBS Enhanced Check on Update Service or willingness to apply.
  • Able to provide 24 months of references.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language and other SEND.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

A primary school local to Bradley Stokeare looking for dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate, or anyone with a coaching, social work or youth work background looking to move into education and support students who need it the most.

Your responsbilities will include:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply.
