Job summary

TimePlan Education Group is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Watford, starting September. This role focuses on supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs across the school day, in classrooms and other learning environments.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups to help students engage with learning, build confidence and achieve individual goals, while collaborating closely with teachers and the wider support team.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate for Child Workforce registered on the DBS Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
  • DBS cost can be refunded after 20 days of work.
  • Experience with SEN/SEMH is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and patience are essential.

Responsibilities

Location:Secondary SEMH School
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract:Full Time, Term Time Only
Start Date:September

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionateSEN Teaching Assistantto join a supportive secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school fromSeptember.

This rewarding role involves supporting students throughout the school day, bothwithin the classroom and in other learning environments. You will work with students on a1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

Requirements
