Job summary

Ethos Education Ltd is seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Ealing from September. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs, helping them engage with learning and build positive relationships.

SEMH Teaching Assistant - Ealing | Full-Time | September Start

Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning?

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing is looking for a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing the consistency and encouragement they need to thrive at school.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils manage their emotions, develop positive relationships and engage successfully with learning. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to provide a structured and nurturing approach tailored to individual needs.

The school is looking for someone who is confident, patient and resilient, with the ability to build trust while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries. Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN or behavioural needs would be highly beneficial.
