Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across welcoming primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils with SEND, and contributing to engaging learning activities.

Qualifications

  • Holds Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.
  • Has more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school.
  • Experience supporting pupils across the primary age range.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • Patient, adaptable and committed to helping pupils succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils.
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, learning difficulties, and additional needs.
  • Assisting with planning and delivering learning activities.
  • Supporting phonics, Maths, English, and curriculum-based interventions.
  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
  • Supporting classroom routines and maintaining an inclusive learning environment.

Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school.

The Role:
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, learning difficulties, and additional needs
  • Assisting with planning and delivering learning activities
  • Supporting phonics, Maths, English, and curriculum-based interventions
  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:
