Job summary

Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants to support schools across Leicestershire. Start date immediate with flexible temporary & permanent roles, ideal for those passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom.

You will assist with lessons, provide 1:1 and small group support, support pupils including those with SEN, maintain a positive inclusive environment, and assist with resources and routines in varied local schools.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2/3 is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for children with SEN
• Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Prepare classroom activities and learning resources
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Supporting daily classroom routines, breaktimes, and school activities
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
