Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teaching Assistants to join our team and support primary schools across Leicestershire. Whether you're experienced in education or taking the next step, we'd love to hear from you.

You’ll help deliver engaging lessons, support pupils including those with SEN, and help create a safe, inclusive classroom. Benefits include flexible opportunities, CPD, and a supportive consultant throughout your placements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or within schools is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2/3 is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for children with SEN or additional learning needs.
• Encouraging pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Preparing classroom activities and learning resources.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
• Supporting daily classroom routines, breaktimes, and school activities.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
