Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher for a flexible, part-time/long-term role in the Telford area. You will deliver high-quality lessons across primary year groups, uphold strong behaviour standards and work collaboratively with school staff.

The position offers adaptable schedules, with potential for permanency for the right candidate and ongoing support from a Smile Education consultant. Start date ASAP with pay between £140-£200 per day.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching across Primary Schools.
• Flexible, well-organised and confident teaching across a range of year groups.
• Strong classroom management, behaviour management and communication skills.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners and different abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons across Early Years to Year 6.
• Maintain routines and promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupil progress during classes and release time.
• Collaborate with class teachers, teaching assistants and wider school staff.
• Uphold the school’s values of respect, ambition and inclusion.
• Ensure continuity and high standards in teaching and learning.
• Adapt lessons to meet varying abilities and needs.
