Job summary

Masterclass Education is partnering with an Outstanding Primary School just outside Chichester to recruit a Primary School Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with potential to go permanent.

You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, create an inclusive classroom, and support pupils with additional needs while collaborating with colleagues to shape curriculum and school initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passion for inspiring and empowering young learners.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Current DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across year groups.
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs (ADHD, autism, social/emotional challenges).
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school initiatives.
• Managing classroom behaviour and supervising students during breaks and transitions.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence and confidence in learning.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across your year groups
• Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including those with ADHD, Autism, and social/emotional challenges
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school initiatives
• Managing classroom behaviour and supervising students during breaks, activities, and transitions
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and confidence in their learning journey

• Proven experience teaching children or young people in a school setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to classroom management and pupil support
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development and growth

Essential Requirements:
