Masterclass Education is recruiting a Primary School Teacher for a school just outside Chichester. The role focuses on delivering differentiated lessons, maintaining an inclusive classroom, and supporting pupils with additional needs.

The position requires strong communication, a calm and empathetic approach, and a commitment to professional development. DBS Update Service preferred; flexible, supportive team environment and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching children or young people in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across year groups.
• Create a positive, structured, inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs (ADHD, Autism, social/emotional).
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school initiatives.
• Manage classroom behaviour and supervise students during breaks and transitions.
• Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence in learning.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across your year groups
• Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including those with ADHD, Autism, and social/emotional challenges
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school initiatives
• Managing classroom behaviour and supervising students during breaks, activities, and transitions
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and confidence in their learning journey

Essential Requirements:

• Passion for inspiring and empowering young learners
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
