Job summary

SupplyGo Ltd. is seeking Supply Teachers to cover primary schools in Alfreton and surrounding Derbyshire areas. You can choose regular full-time, part-time, or day-to-day bookings to fit your schedule.

You will deliver quality lessons, adapt as needed, and support pupils to progress in a positive learning environment. Roles vary by school: one-day or longer-term assignments, with day rates between 130 and 200 pounds inclusive of holiday pay.

Qualifications

• QTS status is required or beneficial for applying as a supply teacher.
• An enhanced DBS certificate is required or can be processed.
• Willingness to complete mandatory online safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons following plans and resources left by the class teacher.
• Plan and adapt activities when no cover is provided.
• Manage behaviour in line with each school's policies and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Work with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Adapt to new settings, year groups and routines.

SupplyGo are looking for Supply Teachers to work in primary schools in Alfreton and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire. Whether you want regular full-time work, a few days a week, or the flexibility of day-to-day bookings, we can offer supply work that fits around you. As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher, helping pupils make progress and keeping their day running smoothly. Each school could require you to cover a single day or a longer-term assignment, depending on the their particular requirements.,

• Deliver engaging lessons, following the plans and resources left by the class teacher
• Plan and adapt activities where no cover work is provided
• Manage behaviour in line with each school's policies and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom
• Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs
• Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff
• Follow each school's safeguarding, health and safety, and other policies and procedures
• Adapt quickly to new settings, year groups and routines
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A valid enhanced DBS certificate. If you are registered with the DBS Update Service, you can use it. If not, we can process an enhanced DBS check for you.
• Willingness to complete our mandatory online safeguarding training
• A professional, caring and confident approach to working with children
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to adapt at short notice
  A full day is typically 08:30am to 15:30pm, though hours may vary slightly between schools. We are looking for a mix of:
• Full-time teachers seeking regular, consistent work
• Part-time teachers looking for set days or reduced hours
• Ad-hoc / day-to-day teachers who want to pick up work as and when it suits them

Pay Pay starts at £130.00 per full day and ranges up to around £200.00 per day, depending on your experience and the responsibilities of the role. All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
