Job summary

SupplyGo is seeking qualified Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Nottingham. You can choose full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc day-to-day bookings that fit your schedule. You will deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Roles vary by school, with day-to-day or longer-term assignments. Pay ranges per day and includes holiday pay, with additional DBS processing support from the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• A valid enhanced DBS certificate. If you are registered with the DBS Update Service, you can use it. If not, we can process an enhanced DBS check for you.
• Willingness to complete our mandatory online safeguarding training

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons, following the plans and resources left by the class teacher.
• Plan and adapt activities where no cover work is provided.
• Manage behaviour in line with each school's policies and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Follow each school's safeguarding, health and safety, and other policies and procedures.
• Adapt quickly to new settings, year groups and routines.
• A professional, caring and confident approach to working with children.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to adapt at short notice

Job description

SupplyGo are looking for Supply Teachers to work in primary schools in Nottingham. Whether you want regular full-time work, a few days a week, or the flexibility of day-to-day bookings, we can offer supply work that fits around you. As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher, helping pupils make progress and keeping their day running smoothly. Each school could require you to cover a single day or a longer-term assignment, depending on the their particular requirements.

Working Arrangements

A full day is typically 08:30am to 15:30pm, though hours may vary slightly between schools.

• Full-time teachers seeking regular, consistent work
• Part-time teachers looking for set days or reduced hours
• Ad-hoc / day-to-day teachers who want to pick up work as and when it suits them

Pay

Pay starts at £130.00 per full day and ranges up to around £200.00 per day, depending on your experience and the responsibilities of the role. All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
