Job summary

SupplyGo is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools around Alfreton and surrounding areas. You will support classroom teachers and help pupils get the most from their day. You will be a reassuring, reliable presence for children and a valued part of the school team.

We offer a mix of full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc day-to-day work to fit around you. A DBS check is required; we can process one and Safeguarding training is mandatory before starting work.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in education, childcare, or related field.
• DBS certificate required; Update Service acceptable or processable by us.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and following the planned learning activities.
• Work with individuals, small groups or whole classes, as directed by the class teacher.
• Encourage and motivate pupils, helping them stay focused and engaged.
• Support children who need additional help with their learning, behaviour or wellbeing.
• Help to maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow each school's policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Adapt quickly to new settings, year groups and routines.
