Job summary

Morecambe Bay Community Primary School is seeking a Welfare Assistant to join our team. The post is a part-time role of 7.5 hours per week, term time only, 11.45am–1.15pm, to supervise lunch, supervise playground, and support structured play.

You will help with lunch hall duties, assist with classroom supervision on wet lunchtimes, and ensure safe storage of equipment. We value reliability, enthusiasm and a caring approach for our pupils aged 2–11.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the hall eating lunch and clear spillages.
• Supervise children outside in the playground and assist structured play activities.
• Assist with wet lunchtimes in classrooms and ensure safe storage of equipment.
