Job summary

Poulton Lancelyn Primary School is seeking a Midday Assistant to supervise children at lunchtime, ensuring their welfare in the dining hall, playground and classroom. The role requires a caring, committed person who works well in a team and can inspire trust in children.

The post is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 11:30am to 1:00pm, with interviews commencing in early October 2026. Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required as part of safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Caring and committed individual to join lunchtime supervision team.
• Ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust in children.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding requirements including DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the welfare of children during lunch in dining hall, playground and classroom.
