Job summary

Cherry Fields Primary School in Banbury is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of learning when the class teacher is absent. You will deliver engaging lessons, support student progress, and work with staff to maintain high behaviour standards.

You will join a supportive team within GLF Schools, collaborating with the inclusion team to help students reach their potential and develop in a welcoming, inclusive environment aligned with the school’s values.

Qualifications

• Teaching assistant experience required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent) demonstrated literacy/numeracy.
• Achieved or working towards HLTA qualification.
• Ability to relate to and support children in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Work with teaching staff and inclusion team to support all students.
• Provide meaningful feedback on progress and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
