Milk Education is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Leigh, WN7. You will support the Reception class, work one-to-one and with groups, and assist the class teacher with planning while promoting inclusivity.

The role runs long-term on a full-time schedule (08:30–15:30) with a 30-minute lunch. Benefits include CPD access, a supportive consultant, and flexible working opportunities in a culture-focused placement network.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support within the Reception class, responding to children's individual needs.
• Help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Assist with lesson planning and adapting resources.
• Promote an inclusive classroom where every student belongs.
