Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in a specialist SEN setting. The role involves 1:1 support for students with ASC, ADHD, and complex learning needs, alongside classroom and small‑group assistance.

Joining a supportive, inclusive school with wellbeing and community at its centre, you’ll be a familiar face who helps pupils build independence and confidence, with flexible days and robust CPD.

Qualifications

• Behaviour management experience in a school or specialist setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASC and ADHD.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy and resilience in supporting pupils with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 support for pupils with ASC and ADHD to help them access learning.
• Support behaviour management strategies and promote positive engagement in lessons.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEN team to adapt resources and interventions.
• Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in pupils across KS3 and KS4.
