Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Ince, WN2, supporting groups of children and one-to-one across KS1 and KS2. This long-term temporary role starts as soon as possible, with full-time hours 08:30–15:30.

You will work alongside the class teacher, adapt resources, and help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps, while contributing to an inclusive classroom culture. A supportive consultant from Milk Education will guide you throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• Level 2/3 childcare or education qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable following direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND, responding to their individual needs.
• Help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Work alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources.
• Promote an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong.
