Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. in Hereford is hiring Night Hygiene Operatives to join our food production team. No experience is required as full training is provided, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of £560 and overtime opportunities. The role covers night shifts on a two-facility site, with a shift premium applicable to the late hours.

You will work as part of a team to maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards, supporting efficient production and compliance with company policies.

About The Role

Working Hours

• Mon -Thurs 21:00-05:00 / Friday 17:00-01:00 £1.61 shift premium

Job Responsibilities

• Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
• Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
• Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
• Manual handling of plant and equipment
• Isolation of plant and machinery

A Little About Our Hereford Site

The Hereford plant is our largest site and processes chicken products across two factory facilities, Grandstand Road and Yazor Road. Grandstand handles processing, whole bird production and portioning, with Yazor responsible for portioning and added value. Across the whole site approximately 1,500 people are employed and it processes 1.9m birds per week.
