Avara Foods Ltd is hiring Production Operatives for our Hereford site on a 6-month fixed-term contract. 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (05:00–14:00 and 14:00–23:00). No prior experience required as full training is provided.

You will be weighing, labeling and packing products in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You’ll join a large, established team at our Hereford site with extensive training, development opportunities and a range of employee benefits.

About the Role

FTC 6 months

Working Hours

40 hours per week rotational shift pattern

05:00-14:00 Monday to Friday

14:00-23:00 Sunday to Thursday

About the role

So you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Duties include

• Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
• Labelling , inspecting and grading of products
• Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg

What are we looking for?

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
