Job summary

Rectory CE Primary School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with SEN allowance to join our Primary team in a part-time, term-time role. The candidate will support pupils with SEND, assist teachers, and contribute to curriculum activities in a nurturing environment.

The role entails duties across pupil support, classroom assistance, and routine care responsibilities as outlined by the school. We value inclusive education and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Support for the pupil: establish relationships, support access to learning.
• Support for the teacher: clerical tasks, display of pupils' work, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
• Support for the curriculum: assist with literacy and numeracy activities and use ICT as needed.
• Extended service activities (Breakfast / After School / Club Care) if required and within working hours.
