Job summary

St Joseph the Worker RC Primary School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the class team and support pupils with additional needs. The post runs part time (30 hours per week) across 46 weeks per year, with a permanent contract and pay band D (scale point 5-6).

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, enthusiastic and capable of working in small groups and 1:1 settings, with experience in managing sensory needs.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified, highly committed, enthusiastic and show initiative.
• Experienced in supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis to support learning.
• Have experience and understanding of managing sensory needs of children.
