Job summary

Trafford Park is recruiting a Primary Learning Mentor to support pupils in a Trafford primary school. You will help children build confidence, engage in learning and develop emotional, social and practical skills in a caring, proactive role.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, promote wellbeing and positive behaviour, and work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure consistent support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in education, youth work, mentoring or a similar setting.
• Calm, patient approach and ability to build trust with pupils.
• Understanding of challenges faced by children with SEND or social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating an inclusive environment.
