Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking experienced Primary Intervention Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Nottingham and surrounding areas. You will work with individuals and small groups, delivering targeted phonics, reading, writing and mathematics interventions to help close learning gaps.

Roles include both full-time and part-time positions with short-term and long-term opportunities. Strong communication and organisational skills, plus a proactive, patient approach, are required,

Qualifications

• Experience working as a primary school Teaching Assistant.
• Experience delivering academic interventions is desirable.
• Knowledge of phonics and early reading programmes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted phonics, reading, writing and mathematics interventions.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups.
• Support pupils who require additional catch-up or reinforcement.
• Develop reading fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
• Support spelling, handwriting and written communication.
• Develop mathematical fluency and number knowledge.
• Monitor pupil progress and feedback to class teachers.
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
