Job summary

Swalwell Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our committed and inclusive team. The role involves delivering high-quality whole-class teaching and PPA cover across the primary age range, supporting planning and assessment, and providing targeted interventions for pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality whole-class teaching and PPA cover across the primary age range.
• Support planning, assessment and delivery of engaging lessons.
• Provide targeted support and interventions for pupils with SEND.
• Adapt learning and resources to meet a wide range of needs, including pupils accessing a semi-formal pathway.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENDCo and external professionals to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
