Candl Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (SEND) for a welcoming primary school in South East London. You will support pupils across KS2, delivering targeted interventions to help them progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised HLTA/Teaching Assistant qualification with strong SEND experience and the ability to lead small groups while supporting teachers and the inclusion team to maintain a positive learning

Formación

• Essential: experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• Essential: recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Strong SEND experience.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions.
• Good behaviour-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils with SEND across KS2.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Lead learning activities when required.
• Support class teachers with planning and lesson delivery.
• Help pupils remain engaged and make progress.
• Support children with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Work with teachers, SEN staff and wider support teams.
