Job summary

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a HLTA to work in a primary school in the Wigan area. This full-time role will cover from Reception Class to Year 6 and is due to start in September for a long-term position.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified HLTA or ECT, with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or 2. You will be confident teaching across curriculums and leading small group intervention sessions.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ L1-3) required.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Two references working with children.
• Current DBS with update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group intervention sessions.
• Deliver across Reception to Year 6 and across the full curriculum.
• Support safeguarding and contribute to quality teaching.
