Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a welcoming primary school in Rotherham to appoint a dedicated HLTA starting 1st September. The post involves whole class cover when teachers are absent and delivering planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

ECTs are welcome to apply; HLTA status or QTS required. The role is full-time with a focus on pupil development through small group work and 1:1 tuition.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or QTS or recognised equivalent (ECTs welcome)
• Experience supporting learning in a UK Primary School
• Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Responsibilities

• Provide whole class cover in the absence of teachers
• Deliver planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Support pupils through small group interventions and 1:1 tuition
• Contribute to a positive, proactive and flexible learning environment
