Job summary

A welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join after October half term, starting 2nd November. The post involves delivering planned lessons across KS1 and KS2, providing classroom cover and supporting pupils in the SEMH unit.

You will work with teachers to ensure consistent learning experiences, manage behaviour positively and help maintain an inclusive, calm learning environment.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification is required.
• Experience supporting primary pupils, including those with SEND.
• Experience with SEMH needs and behaviour management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Provide classroom cover and support learning.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs and implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Help maintain a calm, inclusive learning environment.
• Take on additional responsibilities discussed with the school.
