TeacherActive is recruiting an experienced HLTA to support learning across primary year groups in Wakefield schools. You will deliver planned lessons, provide whole-class cover, and support individual pupils and small groups as needed.

This is a flexible day-to-day role with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions. You will work with welcoming, supportive schools and be paid via PAYE with market-leading rates.

Formación

• HLTA qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in a primary school environment.
• Experience delivering lessons and providing whole-class cover.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication skills and flexible approach.

We are looking for an HLTA to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions becoming available within our schools. The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across the primary age range, including delivering planned lessons, providing whole-class cover and supporting individual pupils and small groups when required.

The successful HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant equivalent qualification
• Experience working within a primary school environment
• Experience delivering lessons and providing whole-class cover
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
