Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds seeking a Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term roles with an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver phonics and guided reading, support pupils with SEND, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs across EYFS and KS1.

The role requires QTS (ECTs welcomed), UK primary teaching experience, and excellent classroom management. On offer are 24/7 consultant support, CPD, competitive pay, and a referral scheme.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs welcomed)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience across EYFS and KS1/KS1
• Experience delivering phonics and guided reading
• Sound knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS and KS1 to deliver engaging lessons.
• Deliver phonics and guided reading sessions.
• Support pupils with SEND and adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school improvement.
