Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident KS1 Classroom Teacher to cover in a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and support a positive learning environment for pupils.

This short-term role starts ASAP. A suitable candidate will have QTS and KS1 experience, with strong classroom and behaviour management, and good communication with staff. PAYE rates apply and a dedicated Consultant is available 24/7.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent; ECTs welcomed.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

Job Title: KS1 Classroom Teacher

Location: Middlesbrough

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £125 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough looking for a confident and adaptable KS1 Teacher. The school is seeking a versatile teacher who can provide effective classroom cover across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and create a positive learning environment for pupils.

The school is looking to take on a KS1 Teacher on a short-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful KS1 Teacher will provide versatile classroom cover across KS1, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning, and adapting effectively to the needs of different classes.

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
