Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a KS1 Primary Teacher to work on a flexible day-to-day basis across partner schools in Bradford and Wakefield, with opportunities for longer-term roles.

You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, follow school planning where provided, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

QTS (ECTs welcome), strong classroom management and communication are essential; safeguarding and DBS checks apply. PAYE, market-rate pay.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent (ECTs welcomed).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Sound knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £140 - 170 per day

We are looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions becoming available within our schools. The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 / KS1, follow school planning where provided and maintain a positive classroom environment.

The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
