Job summary

Milk Education are seeking enthusiastic Primary ECTs to join Rochdale primary schools on day-to-day, short-term or longer-term supply placements.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, establish positive routines, assess pupil progress with mentor support, and work as part of a school team. QTS or ECT induction and KS1/KS2 knowledge are required, with safeguarding commitment.

This role offers a collaborative environment with development opportunities across your placement pathway.

Qualifications

• QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Currently completing, or recently completed, your ECT induction.
• Experience working within a primary school or education setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Establish positive classroom routines and expectations.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assess pupil understanding and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Support pupils' academic and personal development.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Work closely with your mentor, class team and wider school staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing.
• Reflect on your practice and respond positively to feedback.
