Job summary

Milk Education are seeking enthusiastic Primary ECTs to join our partner schools across Manchester. This is a flexible supply opportunity with day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements, designed to match your experience and career goals.

You'll gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence and develop your teaching practice with support from experienced staff and your Milk Education consultant throughout your placement.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Currently completing or recently completed ECT induction.
• Experience in a primary school or education setting.
• Strong understanding of the KS1/KS2 National Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Establish positive classroom routines and expectations.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assess pupil understanding and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Support pupils' academic and personal development.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Work closely with your mentor, class team and wider school staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing.
• Reflect on your practice and respond positively to feedback.

I'm currently looking for enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join primary schools across Manchester.
