Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching, or care.
• Positive, adaptable mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good proficiency in core Primary English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
• Right to work in the UK and reliable access to Crawly schools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with primary class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and keep pupils on task.
• Run targeted reading, phonics, and numeracy booster sessions with individuals or small groups.
• Deliver dedicated 1:1 assistance to children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs).
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
• Assist with lesson prep, creative displays, and break-time monitoring.
