Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking Primary Classroom & Learning Support Assistants to work across Crawly and surrounding areas. Immediate start and term-time opportunities available, with full-time, part-time or daily cover options.

You will support staff across EYFS to KS2, running booster sessions and providing 1:1 SEN support. DBS checks and UK work rights are required, with competitive weekly PAYE rates (£85-£105 per day).

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting children or young people in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching, or care.
• Positive, adaptable mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good proficiency in core Primary English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or ready to complete one).
• Right to work in the UK and reliable access to Crawly schools.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with primary class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and keep pupils on task.
• Running targeted reading, phonics, and numeracy booster sessions with individuals or small groups.
• Delivering dedicated 1:1 assistance to children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs).
• Fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
• Assisting with lesson prep, creative displays, and break-time monitoring.
