The Porch Surgery is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their general practice team in delivering patient-centred primary care. The role focuses on treatment room services, wound care, respiratory support, vaccination clinics, and long‑term condition management within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility in hours is offered; Monday early evenings are essential for extended access. Current NMC registration is required and prior GP practice experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree required.
• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in primary or secondary care settings desirable.

Responsabilités

• Deliver treatment room services, including wound care and dressings.
• Support management and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions.
• Run annual influenza clinics and administer vaccinations and immunisations under PSDs or PGDs.
• Diagnose and manage patients with long-term conditions, using drug and non-drug treatments.
• Implement and evaluate individual treatment plans.
• Support medicines use and review medication effectiveness; discuss changes with GP if no non-medical prescriber.
