Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a three-form-entry primary school in Rugeley. The role is full-time and focuses on 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism, requiring confident relationship-building and tailored support to meet individual needs.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2/3 qualification, a current DBS, and UK school experience, with a competitive daily rate and ongoing consultant support during registration and in-post.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND.
• Experience as TA/LSA in nursery or primary school.
• DBS Update Service or DBS within last 12 months.
• Two strong references and UK school-based experience.
• Experience supporting children with Autism or SEND needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with Autism.
• Build positive relationships and supportive interactions.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
• Provide tailored support to meet the child’s individual needs.
