Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills relevant to multi‑agency work.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders to improve local areas.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate people to take action in their local area
• Understand community engagement principles
• Assist in the leadership of projects that improve neighbourhoods
• Lead effective multi‑agency and partnership working to add value
• Coordinate public engagement and consultations in communities
• Collaborate with Pride in Place Board and local MP to progress priorities
• Gather and communicate community views and feedback
• Support residents and groups to develop and deliver local projects
• Work independently and as part of a team, knowing when to escalate
• Be flexible with hours to accommodate evenings and weekends
