Job summary

Bury VCFA is seeking an experienced strategic leader to work with the Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board in Bury. You will translate local priorities into long‑term investment, influence and sustainable change, while embedding co‑production, equity and inclusion across community, VCSE and public sector systems.

The role involves supporting the Board to fulfil governance responsibilities and overseeing a community‑led neighbourhood investment programme that complies with MHCLG requirements.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board to lead the development and delivery of the Pride in Place Programme in Bury, turning community ambitions into meaningful and lasting outcomes. They will support the Board to fulfil its governance responsibilities while embedding co-production, equity and inclusion, strengthening VCSE sector involvement in local decision‑making, and overseeing the delivery of a community‑led neighbourhood investment programme that meets MHCLG requirements. We are seeking an experienced strategic leader who can work across community, VCSE and public sector systems, helping the Neighbourhood Board translate local priorities into long‑term investment, influence and sustainable change.
