Job summary

Profound Recruitment Partners in Manchester is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join a growing delegated authority insurer. You will develop and monitor pricing across schemes, analyse performance and influence underwriting decisions.

The role includes building pricing models, delivering MI and reports to senior stakeholders, and collaborating with Underwriting, Actuarial and Operations. Hybrid working and clear progression opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, actuarial or analytical roles within insurance.
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to SQL, R or Python beneficial.
• Confident communicator who translates analysis into commercial recommendations.
• Detail-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse performance of delegated schemes, identifying trends, loss drivers and pricing opportunities.
• Build and maintain pricing models to support profitable growth and portfolio optimisation.
• Work closely with Underwriting, Actuarial and Operations to refine rating strategies and ensure alignment with risk appetite.
• Produce regular MI, performance reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support audits, bordereaux reviews and data quality improvements across delegated partners.
