Intact Insurance in London is recruiting Pricing Analysts to join our established Pricing & Actuarial team on a hybrid basis. You’ll deliver data for actuarial analysis, test pricing models, and document assumptions and findings.

The role requires a maths or statistics degree or prior pricing experience, with SAS/SQL/Python familiarity being a plus. We offer a discretionary bonus, strong pension, flexible hours, and career development in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills.
• Graduate in Maths or similar statistical subject or previous Insurance Pricing experience.
• Any experience of SAS, SQL or Python would be highly beneficial.
• Any previous modelling experience would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Delivering quality and timely data for actuarial analysis and reporting, documenting relevant assumptions and observations
• Utilising existing pricing models to test the validity and benefit of new data sources
• Creating a first draft of key pricing principles eg risk cost models, carrying out data check, reconciling information and documenting your findings
• Responsible for finding solutions to strategic problems using best in class techniques, sharing your knowledge with colleagues
• Following the correct control environment in line with internal policies, procedures, governance, regulatory and legislative requirements
